To address the specific needs of women, both Sacramento and Roseville provide breast health programs designed to reduce the time between tumor discovery to treatment decision and initiation of breast cancer therapy. Using multidisciplinary treatment teams, the centers speed discovery and treatment. Team members include physicians, surgeons, nurses, technologists, research, coordinators, social workers and volunteers.

Each center offers comprehensive breast cancer treatment services, including information on prevention, exams and tests for diagnosis (mammograms and breast biopsy), treatment and support services, as well as resource centers in Sacramento and Roseville.

Tools for early diagnosis of breast cancer are available at the Breast Health Center in Roseville and through the Breast Health Services of Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento, and the Women's Imaging Center at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital.
