    Adult & Pediatric Critical (Intensive) Care Services at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento


    Sutter Memorial and Sutter General Hospitals provide critical care services through units dedicated to patients confronting life-threatening conditions and those recovering from complex surgical procedures. Critical care units at Sutter Memorial include a 16-bed surgical intensive care unit, a 16-bed cardiac intensive care unit, a 20-bed pediatric intensive care unit and a 55-bed neonatal intensive care units known as special care nursery. Sutter General's third floor provides 24 critical care beds for our medical and surgical patients. The units are equipped with sophisticated technology suited to the needs of each condition and served by staff trained in the highly specialized needs of each patient and family.    Click here to learn more.

    Critical (Intensive) Care at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital


    Patients with acute conditions requiring 24-hour attention receive care in an environment that provides the latest technology, combined with respect for the family. The unit serves patients with cardiac, respiratory and other medical conditions, as well as post-surgical complications. In addition, Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital's telemetry unit offers progressive care for heart patients leaving intensive care but requiring continued monitoring.    Click here to learn more.

    Electronic Intensive Care Unit Program


    The Electronic Intensive Care Unit (eICUĀ®) Program is a high-tech surveillance system that provides round-the-clock monitoring of ICU patients. Our off-site monitoring station is staffed with full-time critical care physicians and nurses that are equipped with early warning systems to provide critical care monitoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.    Click here to learn more.

    Neonatal Intensive Care at Sutter Memorial Hospital


    Sutter Medical Center is the home of an advanced Women's and Children's program that offers the highest level of care in the region for newborns. The Special Care Nursery located at Sutter Memorial is a 55-bed care center serving 23 counties and more than 48 hospitals. The program includes six neonatologists and more than 150 special care nurses, many of whom are certified in Advanced Life Support. The Special Care Nursery is supported by more than 25 neonatal and pediatric subspecialists immediately accessible through the nursery.    Click here to learn more.
