Since 1982, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) located at Sutter Memorial Hospital is Northern California’s largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with neonatal specialists available for newborns that require specialized care.

The new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Sutter Roseville Medical Center is an extension of the NICU at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento.

Both NICUs are part of advanced medical care available through Sutter Women's Services and Sutter Childrens Services. In addition, the neonatology teams of physicians and nurses work collaboratively with our staff to ensure that every single newborn gets the highest level of care in the region.
